In Memory of Penny: Blue Tit Collection Raises Much-Needed Funds for Martlets

When I first launched this new collection, I promised to donate a percentage of net sales to Martlets Hospice. Today, I'm really proud to announce that thanks to your support, we've raised a phenomenal £1109.85!

This incredible amount means a real difference in the lives of those receiving Martlets' care. As explained by Sam Bennett from Martlets Fundraising Team, this donation is enough to pay for 11 ‘hospice at home’ visits, allowing patients to receive expert care in the comfort of their own home. This is a really valuable contribution to Martlets and the patients and families they are supporting.

More Than Just a Bird

There's a lot of meaning behind these little cheerful birds. If you spot a blue tit, it is often seen as a symbol of joy and good luck, bringing a sense of positivity into your day.  

Blue tits, with their colourful feathers and unwavering spirit, became a symbol of Penny for me. These tiny birds represent resilience, positivity, and the joy found in even the smallest moments. It couldn't have been a more fitting design to dedicate to her memory. 

Perhaps this story will resonate with you and remind you of someone special who has touched your heart. Perhaps it will bring you comfort and joy each time you use it. For whatever the reasons you choose to bring a piece of the Blue Tit Collection into your home, please know that it's made a difference to someone's life and the life of their loved ones.
